After 7 years in our district, New York Naturals will be shuttering its doors by the end of February. Owner Joe Orr said that high rents and the economic downturn has kept him from stocking the store the way he would like to. Joe Orr is also one of the North Flatbush Avenue Avenue BID’s board member so we will be losing a friend as well. Right now, New York Naturals will be selling out the store until all inventory is diminished at 30-50% off. We wish Joe Orr well.
The BID welcomes 3 new merchants to our neighborhood.
Cafe Cubana, located at 80 6th Avenue, at the corner of Flatbush and St. Marks Avenue, is a welcome little casita with a traditional cuban menu including cuban sandwichand pulled pork with yuca.
Born Thai Restaurant
Born is our latest new Thai Restaurant located at 293 Flatbush Avenue between Prospect Place and St. Marks Avenue. Born has a pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff and an eye catching menu. Dont forget the BORN lunch Specials for only $9 served from 12:00 to 3:30pm.
Oasis Spa will soon open in our district before the end of February. Oasis will be a full service spa for Park Slopers.
