Vaccine Mandate and Resources

New York City is now requiring proof of vaccination for customers and workers participating in indoor dining, gyms, entertainment, and performances, as part of its “Key to NYC” initiative. Enforcement for the Key To NYC Vaccination Mandate Enforcement began on September 13th. A number of city agencies have been deputized to enforce Key To NYC, including Department of Health, NYC Sheriff’s Office, FDNY, and Department of Buildings. Template Implementation Plan for Vaccine Mandates:

Under New York City’s new vaccination mandate, gyms, restaurants, bars and nightclubs are required to develop a written implementation plan that will be available for inspection. The plan should include how the business will check the vaccination status of staff and customers before they enter, or immediately after they enter, the business.
