New Traffic Improvements for our District

The North Flatbush Avenue Avenue BID continues to work closely with the Department of Transportation and neighborhood groups to alleviate congestion and continue to promote pedestrian safety in our district, especially along Flatbush Avenue.

Starting on or around April 15th, 2010, DOT will be making the following changes. 

Full time left turns will be banned at the following Flatbush Avenue intersections.

Park Place –  Southbound left turns will be prohibited

Sterling Place – Current AM peak northbound left turn ban will be made FULL TIME.

Park Place eastbound can be accessed via a right turn onto 7th Avenue and then a left turn onto Park Place. Sterling Place northbound can be accessed from Grand Army Plaza via Vanderbilt Avenue (bear right) and left turn onto Sterling Place.
