New Traffic Light at Carlton and Park Place

After years of many complaints and near fatal accidents, a new traffic light has been installed on the corner of Park Place and Carlton Avenue.
The Stop sign has been replaced with traffic lights for traffic calming and pedestrian safety.

The traffic lights and new cross walks make walking across Carlton and from Flatbush to Carlton much easier for all of us. 

The North Flatbush Avenue Avenue BID is working to have the new electric light at the triangle fixed so that there will be better lighting in that area.  As we progress with our Capital Streetscape Plan, the Carlton Avenue triangle will be repaired and repaved.
