Earth Day 2010
SPRING IS HERE! The North Flatbush Avenue Avenue BID has alot in store for the district for April 2010.
This is the 40th Anniversary of Earth Day and to honor this event, the BID will start to do some planting in the treet pits along Flatbush Avenue. We have 44 tree pits that are in need of some soil, mulch and plants. If you would like to volunteer and help with these plantings, please email us at the BID office at info@nfbid.com. Join the Planting Community!
Friday, April 16, from 11 am -12pm, members of the Brooklyn Botanic Garden will be visiting the BID for a Workshop. Each year the BID enters the Greenest Block in Brooklyn Contest sponsored by the Brooklyn Botanic Garden/Greenbridge Program.
