New pedestrian countdown signals for North Flatbush Avenue Avenue

DOT’s new countdown signals will be installed at all busy intersections along North Flatbush Avenue Avenue

Today, Tuesday, August 7, 2012 new pedestrian countdown signals will be completed and installed along the busy intersections along North Flatbush Avenue Avenue. These Pedestrian Countdown Signals at high pedestrian intersections in our area  will make crossing a lot safer for our community.

The North Flatbush Avenue Avenue BID is working with both the 77th and the 78th precinct to reinforce the speed limit along our corridor to protect our pedestrians. DOT and the North Flatbush Avenue Avenue BID goal is to cut the number of traffic fatalities and to keep our neighborhood safe.
